In that regard, the Rajasthan government has launched a scheme called the Indira Gandhi Smartphone Yojana. 1 crore 40 lakh women will be given free mobile phones through this scheme. In the first phase, 40,000 women will be given free smartphones, the Rajasthan government said. In this, 40,000 smartphones have been provided to unmarried women, widows, 100-day working women, government school students studying from class 9 to 12, government ITI People’s Polytechnic students, MNREGA, and Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Scheme women.
